Downline Integrity Brigade Hurts Those it Claims to Protect
The Downline Integrity Brigade hurts the members it claims to protects in a large way. It damages their ability to realize true success online. Unfortunately those involved in the cult that promotes it will never see the light unless they can start to think for themselves.
Yes my opinion may be harsh but if you continue reading you may eventually see the light. The proponents of this system wish to keep the members inline and building their business without them taking the steps needed to build their own.
If people would spend half as much time building their own business as they do building someone else's, following the "Downline Integrity Brigade", then they may experience success. True success is being able to stand on your own two feet and build a true income that you are in control of. So what if a "program" dissipates if you have your own online business that you control then the only program you need to be concerned with is yours.
The guise of The "Downline Integrity Brigade" is used to control those which subscribe to the philosophy, to build the business of the founders without a true concern for the actual individual member. I do believe that they genuinely believe that they they are helping their members to learn how to market on the Internet, but it is in reality a thinly disguised promotion tool for their program which funnels all of the "Downlines" to them.
The only real benefit is for the people at the top of the tower on the backs of others in the system. Yes they may teach you how to build their list but what are they doing to really help you build your business?

- I will NOT use my members or their downlines as my own personal optin list -
If a business wishes to market their services or other Internet Marketing tools to their membership. What is the purpose of having a member programs such as a Traffic Exchange? This fact alone will eventually cause some of the weaker traffic exchanges to fold unless the owner/admin does not mind pumping their own money in on a regular basis.
This premise alone will probably make the traffic exchanges that subscribe to the Downline Integrity Brigade to fold.
- I will NOT send any of my affiliate or Joint Venture links in any of my Admin emails or newsletters. Nor will I embed said links on my website. --
Ok so the owners of a website/traffic exchange are not supposed to use it for a personal marketing platform. If you cannot brand yourself on your own website if you wish what is the purpose of having it?
- I understand that if I wish to promote a program I must always direct members to the downline builder to join it. And if I happen to be a traffic exchange owner I am allowed to rotate my links on the traffic exchange and or rotate them in the banner rotator on my traffic exchange. ---
This is not such a bad condition if it were the only one. Then there would be no reason for the first two. However this still restricts the owner of the traffic exchange in how they run their business which restrict free enterprise.
- I hereby swear that I understand the Importance of Downline Integrity and I agree to never use my members as a list for any of my marketing campaigns. ---
Stupid an redundant. Why own a website if you cannot promote products or services via your list. This condition also does not allow the admin to encourage members to buy credits or upgrade in their core business.
How it hurts the members
.. they are the biggest casualty here
Unfortunatly this will only attract weak traffic exchanges to be members or the bigger programs/traffic exchanges understand what it will do for their personal business if the members subscribe to the theory.
While thy sling around quotes like "Helping the members" and "Not abusing the members effort" to garner support it actually hurts the individual member more than it helps them.
Let's rip apart the myths behind this.
- It allows the members to benefit from their efforts -
Sure members benefit by having everyone comes into a program under them follow them into every other program, but this limits the followers. It does not give the people at the bottom the opportunity to build their own downline in anything unless they continually try to find fresh meat. It limits the people at the bottom and does not allow them to promote upwards of new ideas or programs. - Stops abuse by program owners -
The program owner that preaches this to no end is the worst culprit of stealing from it's "free members". If someone that is reffered by a free member decides to upgrade the commission and credit goes past the free member to the first upgraded members or the site admin. This screams anti Downline Integrity. It is truly abusing the free members and taking advantage of their efforts. - It builds the members team-
Unless the member has a reason for others to follow them why would I want to be on their team? It does not allow new members to choose who they wish to follow. It is akin to slavery. So what if you sign up under some in a program. Does that entitle them to have you follow them in ever program? If you believe this you have no business trying to make money online.
If you believe that just because you recruited one person to one program and then think they are supposed to follow you into every other program you are in you do not understand what it takes to be a leader. It is not an entitlement you have to earn it.
